RWJBarnabas Health and Rutgers Robert Wood Johnson Medical School is Seeking a Chief of Neurovascular Neurosurgery, Northern Region
RWJBarnabas Health, New Jersey’s largest integrated health care delivery system, is seeking a Chief of Neurovascular Neurosurgeon, Northern Region (Jersey City Medical Center and other northern hospitals) for hire at Robert Wood Johnson Medical School in New Brunswick, NJ. The Chief of Neurovascular Neurosurgery, Northern Region will assist in providing oversight over neurovascular activity within RWJBarnabas Health System. This position will oversee the development of quality, safety, care standards, and operational efficiency across the region as it pertains neurovascular, clinically performing neurovascular and general neurosurgery while administratively providing leadership, strategy, and oversight over the core competencies of the neurovascular areas of the service line.
Rutgers Neurosurgery has a neurosurgical residency program, an endovascular and skull base fellowship program, and hosts a vast campus community with undergraduate and graduate medical training centers at New Jersey Medical School in Newark, Robert Wood Johnson Medical School in New Brunswick, and at Cooperman Barnabas Medical Center in Livingston. Across our campuses, there is a wealth of clinical material with basic and translational research resources along with opportunities to train neurosurgery residents, and to teach medical students and fellows.
Candidate Requirements:
- Board certified in Neurosurgery, or eligible
- Fellowship trained preferred
- NJ licensed or eligible for licensure

Compensation:
The anticipated salary range for this position if hired to work is $715,000 to $1,100,000 per year.
The compensation offered to the candidate selected for the position will depend on several factors, including the candidate’s educational background, skills, and professional experience.
